Book Day 2011
Hi everyone! I apologise for my lack of blogging but as many of you know it has been a hectic start to the school year, what with Open Morning, Open Evening AND Sixth Form Open Evening we have hardly had room to breathe! However the half term is only a few hours away and I hope you will all enjoy your week off!
Right now I am sitting in D8 having spent the best part of the morning stalking students and teachers around the school guessing at who they are, which sound a little strange but that's ok, after all its BOOK DAY!!!
After a wonderful week full of activities laid on by the English Department book week has cumulated on this moment on this day, so far there have been an abundance of onesies, several Year 7 Smurfs and Mr Gilkes who has turned up as an "unseen character from The Lion the Witch and The Wardrobe" much to his form's distaste!
I hope you all have an amazing day, good luck to everyone who is entering the costume competition I will be back later in Half Term to bring you photos from today!
